On 12 February a life event took place in The Rietveld Pavilion in Amersfoort. There I, Frank Brugman(founder), played with Arnoud van Gemeren. The Chess IV setup was default: One player each team and four moves per turn. This game resulted in a loss for me, but it was great to improve the experience. The lessons were: 1) Pins and forks does not work well with four moves per turn. 2) Huge forces are build up towards one focus point. 3) The ability to quickly redistribute your coordinated forces was key to victory. 4) A king is a valuable piece which can fight and die for a good cause.
